What is a Private Membership Association ("PMA") and why join? A Private Membership Association (“PMA”) is a group of men and/or women collectively asserting and standing upon their inherent rights and freedoms by engaging in activities in their private capacity rather than in their public capacity.
Why is a PMA good for Kohut Farm?
We want to provide the best quality feed and food products possible to people in our community. However, operating a business in the feed, food and health industries are highly regulated under the PUBLIC domain in Canada, which is controlled through regulation and enforcement by the government. It is regulated so much - that much of the feed and food products produced under it's domain are medicated, genetically modified, and contaminated with poisons that are considered "safe" and "healthy" under their definitions, rules and policies. Operating under a Private Membership using private agreements (contracts) directly with men and women who wish to engage privately creates a safe and effective association to operate and exchange freely in the private domain without government (public) regulations. It allows for freedom of choice and self-responsibility.
