Welcome to Kohut Farm. Our family produces nutrient dense, healthy food  using farming and ranching methods that honor both the land and the traditions of our ancestors. Our farm is located near Didsbury, Alberta. We have values and guidelines that we believe to positively impact the heath and resilience of our community; No GMO seeds, No chemical pesticides, No chemical fertilizers and No added hormones. As stewards of the land, we are committed to producing real food in a way that ensures the resiliency of family farms, robust independent communities and a vibrant, joyful future of sovereignty.

When you purchase foods that are certified organic you know that you are supporting a food system that works with nature through sustainable practices that improve soil, water and ecology in our living systems.

Regenerative Agriculture

Going beyond organic! Through the use of regenerative farming practices we are constantly building soil organic matter and improving biodiversity. This results in the higher quality crops and livestock. To facilitate this, we use low-till and no-till seeding methods, cover crops, multi-species cropping (polycrops) and rotational grazing to ensure the soil can thrive with living biology. We genuinely appreciate the symbiotic harmony of vibrant flora and fauna created in a healthy, diverse ecosystem.
